Latest New iPhone 5 HD , 2012
Apple is reportedly planning to launch iPhone 5 in the coming June. According to a report in CNet, Apple is likely to launch its next-generation iPhone during its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) scheduled for June 11 to 15, 2012.
Based on some rumors of its best competitor, the Samsung Galaxy S3, the iPhone 5 needs to have a Dual Core processor running at around 1.5 to 1.8 GHz, with at least 1 GB of RAM. There are some rumors of the new A6 CPU being quad core but that would be a major battery hog. Apple also needs to build upon one of the iPhone 4S’s strengths: the 8-megapixel RGBV camera! The iPhone 5 could have an improved 8MP sensor, or even a 12MP sensor but the software behind it will need to be top notch, specially since Google has focused on the camera application of their Galaxy Nexus device as well. On the screen front, the new iPhone 2012 needs to have at least a 4 inch screen with HD resolutions because smartphone users have grown accustomed to more screen area. If it works, it works!
Another key feature would be the battery life. The iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S could do pretty well, but with the Galaxy Nexus being able to push up to 21 hours of use with ICS 4.0.4, Apple needs to push the new iPhone’s battery life up a few hours too. The network connectivity options will also play a significant role as HTC and Samsung have both started producing LTE enabled devices.
The report quotes a Foxconn recruiter in a Tokyo TV Show interview, saying that Apple plans to hire some 18,000 workers to meet its June deadline for iPhone 5 manufacturing. Foxconn Technology Group is one of biggest suppliers of Apple.
